Key updates include a front-end camera, new wheels, refined suspension, and a sunroof with silver-plated coating. The new Model Y also boasts a larger trunk with 2,130 liters of space, a steering-column-mounted turn signal stalk, and enhanced AI-assisted driving hardware.
The launch comes after the Model Y lost its top spot as the bestselling car in China, slipping to second place in 2024. Tesla sold 418,428 units in China in 2023, with deliveries of the redesigned model scheduled for March in Asia-Pacific markets.
